PAINT X is a printing machine that uses a rotogravure system, it is designed and meant for a customer who needs to give thermoplastic profiles a wood or marble imitation finish or other similar finishes. The printing process uses acrylic inks dried under a UV lamp or, on request, air dried solvent-based inks.The peculiarity of this process consists in the fact that the thickness of the print is minimised, which means low paint consumption and consequent cost savings.The process can be run with one single printing group, for one-colour printing, or with more groups for multi-colour printing, up to a pentachromic printing system for a realistic appearance; the result is a perfect imitation of wood or any other finish desired.Paint-X can work in the extrusion line, for continuous printing on only one side, or off line to print on more sides of the extruded profile.Instead of the block-rollers, it may be equipped with support/conveyor belts or support slideways, and special guides for transversal movimentation with respect to the extrusion axle in the case of photo-engraved cylinders with two or more sheaves printing system. On request, a special group that brushes and degreases the profile may be placed at the entry of the machine to prepare the surface for printing, According to needs, the drying oven can be equipped with a support/conveyor motorised belt or support slideways/ idle rollers at the exit.Specifically, the PX200 machine can print profiles on a single or twin-strand with a working width of 200 mm.The photo-engraved rollers are Thermostated and the design can be customized to meet the customer’s desire.For special profiles processed on a single and/or twin-strand machine, custom shaped block-rollers can be supplied to target the most unusual requirements, there are therefore no limits to the variety of designs that can be printed on the profile.Thanks to the construction simplicity together and the great easiness of use, PX is an extremely versatile machine for all applications, guaranteeing high productivity and low maintenance.
